An extensive new survey that the hotels Scarborough have to offer are enjoying an economic boom despite the recession.

People have been turning to the sunny skies of the British seaside since the recession, it seems the British public want to save money but still have a fantastic holiday.

4,200 people are currently employed in hotels, bars and restaurants in the Scarborough tourist trade. This figure could still increase with a new Premier Inn been built creating 50 new jobs which means further competition to the hotels Scarborough already has.

The reason for Scarborough’s continued tourism success is because it has so much to offer. The main reasoning behind Scarborough’s dominant tourism success is because it has so much to see.
